What is it? For more than 25 years, Silicon Valley Open Studios (SVOS) has been bringing art to Silicon Valley. This annual event allows the public to visit Peninsula and South Bay Art Studios for free! During the first three weekends in May, 350 of Silicon Valley artists invite members of the community to experience a wide variety of different artistic media in their studios.
Participating artists, including professionals, amateurs and students, work in a variety of fields, such as painting, mixed media, photography, sculpture, jewelry, calligraphy, ceramics, fiber arts, pottery, mosaics, metal work, glass, drawing, printmaking, watercolor, woodworking and more.
Over the past 26 years, Silicon Valley Open Studios has provided an opportunity for the general public, art enthusiasts, art collectors and investors, educators and art students to spend some quality time with the artists in a comfortable setting, providing an opportunity to discuss the artist’s attitudes and motivations.

Silicon Valley Open Studios celebrates this artistic creativity annually by sharing artwork with Peninsula and South Bay communities, and allowing collectors the chance to discover hidden talent without traveling to New York or Los Angeles.
