These blogging apps can help you stay on track.

Do you feel that blogging is a hard task? Well, you’re not wrong. It can be a daunting task to keep up with your blog, especially when you are constantly on the move with a million other tasks. Like any writer, ideas for your blog can come to you anywhere but once that moment has passed, you can lose that idea forever. That’s where these apps come in to help you. Not only do they help you record ideas but cloud sharing apps also help you access and share your word processor anywhere.

Now you can rely on these apps to make your blogging life a little easier:

  1. Evernote. We’re sure you must have heard about Evernote before. Evernote was initially created as software for note taking and archiving. And that’s exactly what the app version of it does. It lets you capture full Web pages, snippets of text, images, audio content and then recall them later as per your need. It makes it really easy for anyone, even a blogger, to record ideas and inspirations in forms of any of the above mentioned mediums and use them later in the blog.
  2. Dragon Dictation. This app is currently only available for Apple products. It is an app for those who prefer dictating rather than writing. This can be particularly helpful for you when you have a thousand ideas on your mind and you need to note them down quickly. You can also use it to dictate an entire blog post. But if you don’t own an Apple product such as an iPhone or iPod Touch there’s no need to be disheartened. The Google Play store has something known as the Tape-a-Talk Voice Recorder that can help you the same way Dragon Dictation would, such as recording memos, notes etc. and send them to your email or Evernote, but it doesn’t convert speech to text for you.
  3. Google Drive. Google Drive was previously known as Google Docs. This is a cloud sharing app; therefore it lets you access your documents from anywhere without needing to take your computer everywhere. If you are working on a blog and an idea strikes you while you are nowhere near your computer, you can use the Google Drive app on your phone to access that file and write down your ideas. Another convenience of Google Drive is that it allows you to share your file with anyone, so if you need any of your colleagues to edit or proofread your blog, you can always share it with them. This is one of the most valuable apps as it’s a major time saver.
  4. As an added bonus, here is an app that doesn’t exactly let you record anything, but it allows you to control your environment in case you are one of those people who are surrounded by a lot of noise and can’t get your work done because of it. White Noise – Rainy Day is an app that adds a calm ambiance to your surroundings with light rain sounds, thus helping you do your work in peace.

So are you already using or planning to use any of these apps to make your blogging a little easier? Let us know, we would love to hear from you!
