What is it? StorySnoops is a website created by four moms with the desire to offer balanced, informative book reviews for other parents, teachers and librarians to use. Designed from a parent’s perspective, StorySnoops provides children’s, tween and teen book reviews, and aims to help others decide which books are the best fit for young readers.

How does it work? StorySnoops is a free service where parents, teachers and librarians can take a look at a book’s details, plotline, noteworthy themes, content and reviews or comments made by other users. Also, by quickly registering for a free account, a parent can comment on currently reviewed books, make book suggestions for the Snoops to review, or post their own review on a book on the website!

The Scoop on the StorySnoops: (From top to bottom) Tiffany Boltz, Shannon Knowlton, Eden Manseau and Jennifer Nagel are “The Snoops” who created StorySnoops. These four moms in the San Francisco Bay Area came together because of their passion for reading and their goal to foster a life-long love of reading in their children. Between the four of them, they have nine children with ages ranging from first grade all the way through high school.
