About Our Current Opening

We’re hiring a Content Marketing and Public Relations Publicist to help spread the good news about our clients! This is currently a part-time position with the possibility of growing to full time. Although training will take place in-person, work will primarily be done via telecommuting.

Job Description

Publicist will report directly to the CEO-Chief Publicist and Senior Director of Publicity, and will work with other team members and clients. Activities will include, but aren’t limited to:

  • A variety of content creation and management including:
    • Blogging
    • Social Media
    • Email Marketing
    • Basic Image Creation
  • PR-related activities such as branding analysis, strategic planning and media relations

Qualifications

Must be willing to work independently, be comfortable telecommuting, have strong organizational and writing skills, be proficient with social media (specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest) and have experience conducting Internet research. Familiarity with graphic design a plus. Excellent interpersonal relations are required as communication with clients is key to this position.

Candidate must be based in Washington with the ability to meet in the Olympia area for training. Candidate must also be able to provide their own computer, Internet access and phone with unlimited minutes / long distance.

Compensation: $11.50-$12/hour depending on experience.
