When you’re blogging on your company’s behalf, it’s important to include strategic search engine optimization (SEO) tactics in your efforts. Keywords cause your article to pop up in a search engine, so when you go to conduct your brand’s keyword research, ask yourself if your word or phrase passes the “Google Test!” Would someone google your keyword? Or would they phrase it differently? Adjust the keywords accordingly.
It’s also important to include short- and long-tail keywords for the best possible outcome. A short-tail keyword can be one or two words, whilea long-tail keyword is three or more words. My tail is wagging just thinking about all your new readers!
