Erika Taylor Montgomery
Erika Taylor Montgomery, CEO and Founder of Three Girls Media Inc., enjoyed an 18-year broadcasting career in the San Francisco Bay Area before transitioning to Public Relations and Marketing. In 2005, Montgomery launched Three Girls Media, a personalized PR and custom content marketing agency, in Silicon Valley specializing in working with small and mid-size companies worldwide. In 2013 she relocated the company to the greater Seattle area.

Erika is a sought-after public speaker and the co-author of the bestselling book, The Spirit of Silicon Valley – Journeys & Transformations Beyond Technology, available on Amazon.com. In addition, she was the creator and host of PUNCH! Media & Marketing Made Easy, a popular educational talk show on KDOW 1220am, The Wall Street Business Network. As a journalist, Erika covered Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign, the San Francisco/Loma Prieta Earthquake of 1989 and the infamous Oakland Hills fire; she also enjoyed the lighter side of TV, hosting The Simpsons and Star Trek marathons for the WB network. Following her award-winning broadcasting career, and prior to beginning Three Girls, Erika worked as Director of Media Relations for a prestigious Silicon Valley PR firm where she managed campaigns for NBC, including work with the cast of Will & Grace and Crossing Jordan. She also spent several years working for the California State Legislature as a Press Secretary.
Erika’s personal media accomplishments include more than 5,000 media placements in outlets including The Wall Street Journal, InStyle, Oprah, USA Today, The New York Times, the Washington Post, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC, as well as international press throughout Europe, Mexico and Australia.
When she’s not in the office you’ll likely find Erika cooking or baking, two of her favorite pastimes. She also enjoys planting and caring for her large veggie garden, picking organic blackberries that surround her country property, Moose Hollow, and binge watching TV shows like Deadliest Catch, Top Chef and Project Runway.

In addition to managing social media and blog campaigns across a wide range of industries (from home design, cooking and wellness to student loans, law and multi-state taxation), Emily has also worked with media outlets across the country, such as The View, Women’s Health, Prevention and CNET, to secure hundreds of editorial media placements for Three Girls’ clients.
Emily holds a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. Before she came to Three Girls, she was Publicity Chair for the Pacific Lutheran University “Relay For Life” marathon for the American Cancer Society, which won three awards for the campaign. She also developed a strategic campaign for the Veteran’s Affairs program in Washington and served on the Lute Crew Alumni Association’s board as Provisional Communications Director.
Outside the office, Emily is very active at her church and volunteers in multiple capacities. She enjoys playing in the rain, dance parties with her husband and kids, and spending time with friends and family.
With a B.A. in public relations and a minor in communication studies, Natalie enjoys working with small and mid-sized businesses to spread the word about their brand. Having several years of customer service experience, Natalie is passionate about building close relationships with her clients based on open communication and a transparent process.

Natalie loves getting her clients noticed in the media and watching their brand awareness and name recognition rise. A strong writer, Natalie has a terrific knack for capturing a company’s voice and personality whether she’s writing blog articles, social media posts or collateral and web copy.

Most of Danielle’s free time is spent at the stables caring for her horse and watching her oldest daughter ride. When not at the barn, the Pacific Northwest native loves cuddling up with a warm drink and a good book, trying to capture the splendor of nature with her DSLR camera while camping, and being silly with her daughters.
Sarina has more than ten years of experience managing web content creation and market research projects ranging from small non-profit and startup environments to high profile, million dollar accounts. She graduated with a B.A. in German, got hitched and began traveling the world with a growing family. She has lived in the Middle East, studied abroad in Germany and worked in South Korea teaching academic and business writing at the prestigious Sogang University.

In 2010, Sarina’s desire to understand marketing and business cultures on a global scale inspired her to earn a master’s degree in international business and economics from the University of Kansas. Her published research focused on the unique marketing strategies of international technology companies.
Mericia joined Three Girls Media with more than a decade of multimedia experience under her belt. She has a passion for producing informative and entertaining stories. She earned her B.S. in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcasting and a Minor in Spanish from San Jose State University in Silicon Valley.

The last few years she has worked in television, magazines and online publications as an Entertainment Journalist in Las Vegas, NV and San Francisco, CA, but even when reporting she has felt that her home in the media world is behind the scenes. She is excited to have made the transition into public relations and enjoys translating her clients’ goals into tangible story ideas that result in compelling and meaningful content.
Mericia enjoys discovering the latest trendy spot, hitting the clubs for a dance, checking out a show, keeping up on various TV shows, knowing the latest celebrity gossip and spending time with her friends and family.
Sedona joins Three Girls Media as a Publicity Assistant attending The Evergreen State College, majoring in Political Science and Arts Media. Her studies have been strongly influenced by her interest in content created in political atmospheres throughout history and what that art, writing or performance is representing for different groups of people.

When not spending time in school or working, Sedona enjoys painting and reading. She loves creating landscapes of different spots in Olympia, WA, where she lives with her beautiful Maine Coon cat, Moppy. Sedona also enjoys eating out, bonding with friends and hosting events at her home. On occasion you can catch Sedona performing or attending comedy sets in the South Puget Sound.
Jesse recently joined Three Girls Media as a Publicity Assistant. She holds a B.A. in Journalism, with a focus on Public Relations, from Western Washington University. Previous experience includes working with the Society of Entrepreneurial Innovative Women and Opportunity Council, a nonprofit in Bellingham, where she enjoyed learning the link between effective PR and charitable organizations.

When she’s not working, Jesse loves to watch movies and documentaries, and enjoy a cup of tea with her dog and two cats.
Effy Zoey Faye, simply known around Three Girls as Effy, very much enjoys her role as “Office Greeter” and 4-footed best friend to Erika, Three Girls’ CEO. Effy is a Chihuahua Pug mix with a petite face, a curlicue of a tail and beautiful golden eyes, and adores wearing anything that keeps her warm. Erika found Effy at the Silicon Valley Humane Society; the shelter picked her up as a stray. She is very happy to be living with her forever family.
Outside the office, Effy is a friendly dog that enjoys the simple things in life. Her daily schedule consists of long naps on Erika’s desk or on the back of her sofa and walks through Erika’s country property, Moose Hollow. She loves eating raw baby carrots, burrowing under the covers of the bed and playing with furry stuffed toys, especially her favorites – a chicken that clucks and cow that moos.
