Astrid: Astrid is an application that is available on Android and iPhone devices and on the web. This particular app is a great starting point for anyone wanting to take a stab at online organizing. Astrid’s clean interface is very user-friendly and gives users the ability to share their to do lists with others, sync their lists with free cloud backup and use voice recognition for recording tasks. Astrid also provides friendly and fun reminders when there is a task at hand to be completed. This app is highly regarded and has been called one of the best organizational apps on the market by PC World, Life Hacker and PC Magazine.
Remember the Milk: Remember the Milk would be considered a typical to do list app with a basic user interface but what sets it apart is its ability to provide instant access from multiple access points. Remember the Milk differs from other apps because of their widgets and reminding functions. Widgets can be downloaded through Gmail, Bookmarklet, iPhone and Android applications and the app can even function through Twitter and Siri. Toodledo: Toodledo is a more intricately organized but still very manageable application for to do lists that is available for free download on iPhones, Android devices and even Blackberry devices in addition to the traditional web-based version. This app differs from other apps like Astrid, Remember the Milk or Wunderlist in its level of complexity. It is a great app for someone who is comfortable with the technological use of their to do list and has moved past the resources available in one of the simpler user interfaced apps. Toodledo creates a full-fledged workspace that is available virtually anywhere and is said to improve productivity with its immense organization skills. This app in particular is said to be great for collaboration and brings a sense of organization into team work within the workplace. Features of Toodledo include hot lists, filters, to do list schedulers and customizable alarm settings. This application is free to download and will even allow you to import information from other organizational to do list programs that you may have worked with in the recent past.
