November is known as the month of giving thanks, from Facebook users posting something they’re grateful for each day to families gathering for Thanksgiving. As a business owner, how do you show your clients and colleagues that you appreciate them?

Showing Gratitude to Clients and Colleagues

Do you show clients and colleagues gratitude?

Do you show clients and colleagues gratitude?

Here are three ways to show clients and colleagues gratitude this time of year:

  1. A handwritten thank you card. Everyone loves snail mail! Block out some time to sit down and write out thank you cards by hand. You don’t need to use calligraphy or write anything fancy, but spend an extra minute personalizing it by referencing something specific to your working relationship. This will show you took the time to specifically think of them.
  2. A special discount or free product/service. Who doesn’t like a deal? Of course you don’t want to cut into your profit margin, but give your clients a token of your gratitude by offering an exclusive coupon or a small add-on.
  3. Give them recognition. Say a public, “Thanks!” Show your gratitude by giving a shout-out on your social media networks or in an e-newsletter or blog post. This doesn’t need to be anything fancy either, but if they also own a business make sure you share a link to their website. Link love is always a good thing!
