Don’t miss this grilled ribeye recipe

Spring means it’s time to break out the BBQ and I love to grill a great ribeye, my favorite cut of beef. This recipe is super easy and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 4 ribeye steaks, preferably bone-in
  • 4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. seasoning salt
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh ground pepper
  • BBQ sauce of your choosing

Directions:

2 to 24 hours prior to grilling, mix equal parts seasoning salt, garlic powder and fresh ground pepper (enough to generously coat the steaks on both sides) in a small bowl. Sprinkle both sides of steaks with Worchestershire sauce, followed by a liberal coating of the seasoning mix. Let marinate 2 to 24 hours.

Take steaks out of refrigerator at least 1 hour prior to grilling to bring them to room temp. Bring grill or coals to medium-high heat. Grill steaks approximately 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Once ribeye is turned after the first 3 minutes, coat the top of the steaks with BBQ sauce. Once cooking is complete, remove from grill and let sit for at least 5 minutes before serving.

Enjoy!

Spring means farmers markets, and that means fresh fruits and veggies! I love smoothies, especially when the weather is nice – or even if it’s rainy and you need a pick-me-up! Here is my favorite smoothie recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 organic banana, cut in slices or thirds
  • 2 large fresh strawberries, cut in halves
  • ½ cup fresh spinach
  • 2 Tbsp. flax seed
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt (Greek Gods Strawberry & Honey is my favorite!)
  • 1 heaping spoonful of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ½- 2 cups 100% orange juice (add more if needed)

Directions:

Put all ingredients into a blender and mix it up (usually about 10-12 seconds for the right consistency). Enjoy!
